He was USC’s Special Teams Player of the Year in 2012 and earned a Pac 12 honorable mention at safety. Versatile and athletic, Tony was an accomplished track and field competitor with the Trojans competing in the long-jump, triple-jump and sprints.
Graduating from USC with a degree in Human Performance is Tony’s proudest accomplishment. He drew inspiration from watching his Mother graduate from college and he made it his goal to follow in her footsteps by achieving his degree. He unwinds after a game by participating in Netflix marathons, most recently binge-watching Game of Thrones and Homeland. Tony is a self-proclaimed Disneyphile, as his favourite movie is The Lion King. He enjoys all styles of music, but if pressed, he lists Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw as his favourite artists. Tony also has no intention of saying sorry for listening to a Justin Beiber song from time to time. Tony’s Mother and Aunt shower him with constant love and support. He grew up in Los Angeles and that is where Tony calls home during the off-season.
