2023-24: After attending 2023 training camp with the Denver Broncos, Tony returned for a second stint with the New Orleans Saints and rushed for 70 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries across four games. He was claimed off waivers by the Arizona Cardinals in October and suited up in three games with 25 yards on five carries.
2020-22: Signed with the New Orleans Saints as a non-drafted free agent and emerged from camp with a spot on the practice roster before being activated for the Saints’ final regular season game against Carolina, rushing for 13 yards on three carries. Tony saw more production in 2021, suiting up in 11 contests and rushing for 142 yards on 52 carries and making five receptions for 29 yards. After being waived by the Saints on October 8, 2022, Jones signed with the Seattle Seahawks and rushed for 16 yards on eight carries in four contests.
College:
2016-19: Tony suited up at Notre Dame for four seasons, recording 1,481 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on 271 carries across 38 games. As a senior, the explosive back had 857 yards and six touchdowns in 12 games and capped off his college career with an 84-yard touchdown in the Camping World Bowl win over Iowa State, a play that went down as the longest run in Fighting Irish bowl history.
