Woodly was signed as a free agent by the Lions on September 22, 2025.

Highlights:

2025: Woodly began September of 2025 on the REDBLACKS’ practice squad. He then signed with the Lions on September 22 and was activated for that week’s game against Ottawa and went on to record one special team tackle across four games. He made his Grey Cup Playoffs debut in the Western Semi-Final win over Calgary.

2022-24: The Montreal native was selected in round five (40th overall) by Ottawa in the 2022 CFL Draft. Following a trade to Edmonton, he suited up in 17 games with the Elks from 2023-24 and made five tackles on special teams.

College:

2021-22: Woodly suited up in 18 games over two seasons at Tuskegee University, recording 88 total tackles (49 solo, 39 assisted), 1.5 sacks, a pair of pass breakups, one forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
