The 2020 season marks Jamie’s 15th year as the club’s Director of Communications and his 19th season in the Canadian Football League after spending four seasons with the Edmonton Eskimos (2002-2005). He is the longest-serving communications executive in team history as well as the CFL’s most senior communications professional.

As a member of the club’s senior management team, Jamie provides  strategic communications expertise to the club while also serving as the first point of contact for all members of the media. He is also responsible for publications such as the club’s media guide, training camp guide, season summary, game notes and media releases. He also writes for the Lions’ website and game day program.

Jamie has been fortunate enough to enjoy five visits to the Grey Cup during his time in the CFL, earning four championship rings along the way.

A graduate of Grant McEwan College in Edmonton, Jamie spent two years as a speech writer for Edmonton City Council before entering the CFL as the Esks’ Communications and Community Relations Coordinator.
