Join us pre-game on Terry Fox Plaza for the BC Lions Backyard Bash as the BC Lions face off against the Saskatchewan Roughriders in a fan-favorite rivalry packed with fun, flavor, and a whole lot of smashing.
The party kicks off at noon with $5 beers, BBQ, and tons of fun. Rock your green or orange, show your pride, and pick a side. Let the games begin!
For the first time ever, you can smash a watermelon deemed unfit for stores. Donate to Surrey Food Bank to get in on the action on Terry Fox Plaza! And don’t worry — the smashed melons won’t go to waste, they’ll be donated to local farms to be enjoyed by hungry pigs!

$5 MENU
The $5 Menu is available at Dawson’s Hot Dogs stands at sections 201 & 227. Get $5 beer, hot dogs, nachos, or popcorn. Limited-release items may appear on the menu throughout the year.
$7.75 KIDS COMBO
The Kids Combo at Dawson’s Hot Dogs (sec 214, 241, 414 & 441) is $7.75 for a hot dog, chips, and bottled soft drink or water.
The Kids Combo at Lions Gate Grill (sec 215, 228, 254, 412 & 439) is $7.75 for chicken strips, fries, and bottled soft drink or water.

BC PLACE NO BAG POLICY
- Guests are encouraged NOT to bring bags to the stadium.
- Guests may enter with one CLEAR plastic bag that is no larger than 12” x 12” x 6”
- Guests may also carry one small CLUTCH PURSE no larger than 8.5” x 6.5”, with a handle or strap which will be searched.
- Exceptions may be provided for diaper bags, and for medically necessary items that cannot fit into a clear bag.
- All bags are subject to search, including enhanced screening, if required.
- Any bags exceeding the allowed dimensions above will be checked-in to the BC Place Bag Check at Gates C or G for a $10 fee

All purchases at BC Place are now cashless. All major credit and debit cards, and digital forms of payment are accepted.
If you don’t have a card for payment, cash-to-card conversions are available. Please visit the Cash to Card kiosk on the concourse at Section 235.
