The BC Lions Football Club announced today that quarterbacks John Beck and Jarrett Lee have signed contracts with the team.
Beck was a second-round selection of the Miami Dolphins in the 2007 NFL Draft and also made stops in Baltimore, Washington and Houston over a six-year career. The BYU grad started seven regular season games over that period throwing for 1,417 yards and three touchdowns on 140 completions.
Lee comes to the Leos after spending five years at perennial football powerhouse LSU, as well as 2012 training camp with the San Diego Chargers. The Texas native finished his collegiate career with 317 completions on 565 attempts for 3.949 yards, 32 touchdowns and a career passing rating of 126.1.
