Every year, our Play with the Pros clinics host hundreds of kids ages 6 to 13 and matches them with some of their favourite BC Lions players. Through our fun, hands-on activities, kids get an opportunity to participate in a non-contact skills clinic hosted by pro players.
The participants are divided into groups and rotate through various skill stations every 10-15 minutes. Several BC Lions players are assigned to each of the stations, teaching skills such as agility, passing, receiving, blocking, and tackling.
It’s our hope that the kids’ involvement in these clinics will be part of their journey towards lifelong fitness and Life-Skill training through sport.
