Capers attended training camp as an undrafted free agent signing of the Carolina Panthers in 2015. Prior to his NFL stint, he appeared in 38 games over four years at Johnson C. Smith (Div. II) located in his hometown of Charlotte, NC and recorded 136 receptions for 1,554 yards and 13 touchdowns during his time with the Golden Bulls.

Gleben joins the Lions fresh off a five-year run at Queen’s University where he dressed for 27 games. An effective blocking-back, he recorded just three career carries for six yards, but scored a touchdown on all three attempts while adding 112 yards on 10 receptions. ddd

Both Capers and Gleben will be on the field this Thursday and Friday as the club’s coaching staff put approximately 30 first and second-year Lions through their paces at a two-day evaluation camp at the team’s Surrey practice facility.
