The BC Lions are pleased to invite fans to the club’s 2016 FanFest presented by BC Egg this Saturday, June 4th from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm at Hillside Stadium in Kamloops, site of the team’s 2016 Training Camp.
With a new evening format, the club is pleased to add a Budweiser beer tent and a fireworks display presented by BCLC to this year’s event.
As in past years, FanFest will feature a number of great family-friendly attractions including performances by the Felions Dance Team, in-game
interviews with Jonathon Jennings, Solomon Elimimian and Mike Edem and the always-fun Kids Zone with inflatable games, face painting and much more.
The Lions are also very excited to announce that they have signed seven year-old Kamloops resident and cancer survivor Elizabeth Harbaruk. The club’s biggest fan will serve as honorary captain for the scrimmage and may indeed see game action on Saturday night.
Following the annual Play With the Pros football clinic from 6:00 pm to 6:45 pm, Lions fans will get a sneak preview ofthe team during an on-field practice session running from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm and get to meet their gridiron heroes with an autograph session that goes from 9:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Two lucky fanswill also win game jerseys worn by Travis Lulay and Jonathon Jennings.
Following the autograph session, fans are encouraged to return to the stands and enjoy the fireworks show presented by BCLC.
Fanfest is also the perfect opportunity to gear up for the 2016 season as a wide selection of new adidas merchandise will be available for purchase as well as the ever-popular official Training Camp t-shirt for just $20.00.
