The BC Lions announced today that five members of the club’s 2015 practice roster will return in 2016.

International receiver Terence JeffersHarris as well as Canadian defensive lineman Maxx Forde and offensive lineman Campbell Allison signed extensions through the 2017 season, while international kicker Anthony Fera and international defensive back Darious Lane will also return in 2016.

JeffersHarris made his Lions debut in the final game of the regular season recording three receptions for 78 yards while both Forde and Allison spent the year on the practice roster after being drafted by the Leos this past spring.

Fera also made his pro debut in the final regular season game of 2015 making two of his four field goal attempts and averaging 49.5 yards on his six punts. Lane made first Lions start in week 10 versus Ottawa and appeared in two other contests recording four special teams stops on the year.

The Lions also announced that quarterback John Beck has informed the club of his intention to retire. The former BYU stand-out dressed for 11 games in 2015 with two starts. He suffered a season-ending injury versus the Calgary Stampeders on September 18.
