The BC Lions Community Outreach Team are a dynamic group of Lions team members who engage fans, and soon to be fans at events around the Lower Mainland. Stocked with a custom BC Lions Truck & Trailer, the team can be seen handing out prizing, entering people into contests, and selling Lions merchandise at community events and pop-up locations. They even have a custom BC Lions bike cart serving Lions freezies to beaches around the city!
The Outreach and Events team prioritizes community festival events such as Car Free Days, University events, major event days such as Christmas Tree Lighting ceremonies and Canada Day celebrations, sunflower festivals and pumpkin patches, and attend amateur football events throughout the region. In total, the team attends over 75 unique events each year, and are always on the hunt for more!
