The BC Lions are back at BC Place to kickoff their season at home! For the second year in a row, not only will fans get to see the team take to the turf, they will also be treated to a performance by the one and only LL COOL J.
The BC Lions are thrilled to announce that two-time Grammy winner, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, and international Hip-Hop icon will headline our Concert Kickoff, prior to the big match up against the Edmonton Elks presented by BC Fed.

Over three decades since he burst onto the scene, LL has continued his vibrant trailblazing career. He began in the nascent, burgeoning rap and Hip-Hop scene of the 80’s, which developed into the musical and cultural phenomenon that is today’s Hip-Hop.
LL will also be joined by DJ and producer Z-Trip, a pioneer of the mashup movement and 2009 winner of America’s Best DJ award.
The BC Lions Backyard presented by PlayNow Sports is back for 2 days leading up to the game!

The BC Lions are excited to welcome The Trews, who will be our Saturday Backyard Party headliner. Hailing from Antigonish, Nova Scotia, The Trews are many and mighty, highlighted by multiple radio hits drawn from seven critically acclaimed studio albums plus several EPs, a pair of live records, and a retrospective, and have shared stages with everyone from the Rolling Stones to Weezer, Bruce Springsteen to Rich Robinson
They will take the stage just prior to our kickoff, so be sure to get to the stadium early to take in the performance!

The national anthem will be sung by NYC singer, actor, and American Idol Star Emma Busse. Emma is Burnaby born, and returning home for our Concert Kickoff!
UPROAR HALFTIME PERFORMANCE
The 2023 UPROAR Dance Team will make their debut on June 17th and will treat fans to a full-length routine at halftime. You won’t want to miss the brand new choreography and costumes!
