BC LIONS vs CALGARY STAMPEDERS
FRIDAY | AUG 18 | 7:30PM

The BC Lions (5-3) return to BC Place this Friday at 7:30 pm to host the Calgary Stampeders (5-1-1) in a critical West Division showdown presented by Purolator Tackle Hunger.

For the final time in 2017, Kids 12 and under can see the Leos in action for just $5.

The Lions look to get back in the win column against a very talented Calgary team which is in second spot in the ultra-competitive West Division. While sitting at 5-3 on the year, the Leos need to put together key wins against division rivals as the season nears the midway point if they want to have a shot at a home playoff game in November.

Quarterback Jonathon Jennings should have a full complement of playmakers back in the line-up versus the Stamps which means a high-octane offensive attack, but they will need an equally determined effort from the defence against Calgary pivot Bo Levi Mitchell.

It’s a Friday night brawl and it’s a big one as the Lions and Stamps collide under the lights at BC Place.

BC LIONS & BC PLACE SECURITY POLICY UPDATE

In our ongoing effort to provide a safe and entertaining environment for every one of our fans, the BC Lions Football Club and BC Place have partnered to implement best-practice security procedures for the 2017 season.

  • Entry Procedure: All guests entering BC Place are required to participate in a mandatory full pat-down.
  • Bag Policy: All bags smaller than 14’’x14’’x6’’ will be inspected prior to entry. Containers, coolers or bags larger than 14’’x14’’x6’’ are prohibited. Special considerations will be made for guests with special medical needs and parents caring for infants.
  • Arrive Early: Due to these increased safety procedures, we strongly recommend early arrival to BC Lions games. Approaching BC Place from Beatty Street, fans are advised that Gates A & H are the two most popular – and therefore busiest – entry points at the stadium.
  • Lineups? If you experience a lineup at a given gate, please remember that you can enter the stadium at any alternate gate, except Gates F and G.

Please reach out to us at 604.589.ROAR (7627) if you have any questions or concerns. We appreciate the cooperation and understanding and look forward to a fun and safe Lions Football season at BC Place.
