Jake was signed by the Lions as a free agent on February 14, 2024.

Highlights:

2023: Dolegala was pressed into starting duty for the final nine games following injuries to Trevor Harris and Mason Fine. He would record a career-high 409 passing yards in a September 29 loss at the Lions and finished the season 216/333 for 2,641 yards, 11 touchdown strikes and nine interceptions.

2022: Moved north to the Saskatchewan Roughriders and would dress in two games with one start, his first coming against the Toronto Argonauts in Week seven.  Dolegala finished his first CFL campaign completing 16 passes for 154 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

2019-21: Dolegala signed with the Cincinnati Bengals as a non-drafted free agent in May 2019 and spent the entire season on the active roster. He played in two pre-season games with the Bengals and completed 37 passes for 347 yards and two touchdowns. He later had training camp and practice roster stints with the New England Patriots, Green Bay Packers, and Miami Dolphins from 2020-21.

College:

2015-18: Dolegala suited up in 44 games at Central Connecticut, completing 654 passes for 8,129 yards, 48 touchdowns and 24 interceptions while adding 452 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns. He left as the program’s all-time leader in passing yards and touchdowns and was the fifth quarterback in the Northeastern Conference to throw for over 8,000 yards in his career. In his senior season, he was a First Team All-Northwestern Conference selection.
