Tipa was signed as a free agent by the Lions in January 2024.

Highlights:

2020-22: Tipa signed with the Green Bay Packers as a non-drafted free agent in May 2020 and would suit up in 13 games over the next three seasons. Along with recording 16 combined tackles (nine solo, seven assisted), Tipa recorded his first career sack on Baker Mayfield in a game against Cleveland on December 25, 2021.

College:

2017-19: Transferred to Utah State and redshirted in 2017 before suiting up in 25 games over the next two seasons. Recorded 119 combined tackles (60 solos, 59 assisted), 23 tackles for a loss, 15.5 sacks, five pass breakups, three forced fumbles and a pair of interceptions while earning Second-Team All-Mountain West honours in both 2018 and 2019.

2015-16: Tipa suited up in 17 games over two seasons at Texas Christian while recording 31 tackles, 5.5 tackles for a loss and four sacks.
