The Manny Show was catching everything in October and on Thursday he was rewarded with a CFL Player of the Month honour. Emmanuel Arceneaux was on a mission the last five games, hauling in 28 catches for 424 yards and four touchdowns. Perhaps his biggest outing was on October 22nd where he had 132 yards on eight receptions, including a 70-yard catch and run to help defeat the Edmonton Eskimos. It was his second touchdown of the game and also helped him earn a CFL Top Performer of the Week honour.

Arceneaux and the Lions host Saskatchewan on Saturday to close out the regular season, presented by Nissan. Arceneaux is also just five receptions away from 100 on the year, a number that hasn’t been reached by a Leos’ receiver since Geroy Simon in 2006.

However, number 84 is more concerned with beating the Roughriders and earning home field advantage for the Western Semi-Final on Sunday, November 13th.

The Lions are guaranteed second place in the West with a victory or if Winnipeg loses in Ottawa on Friday night.
